Tuesday, January 11, 2011 was the last Einstein Class with our grades 8-10, before the clubs are swapped over with the grades 5-7. We had a mini pizza party and then tried to let afloat one of those Chinese lanterns. Once filled with hot air, these 'lanterns' are meant to float up and away into the sky, if done correctly. After writing down our wishes on two different lanterns - a red and a pink - and spending the next half hour trying to light them, both lanterns, sadly, burned away and failed. Rotten luck it was, especially since it was our last Einstein Class with the grades 8-10.
